Article 12 (অনুচ্ছেদ-১২):
No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks.
(কোনো ব্যক্তিই তার গোপনীয়তা, পরিবার, বসতবাড়ি অথবা চিঠিপত্রের আদান-প্রদানে অযৌক্তিক হস্তক্ষেপের অথবা তার সম্মান ও মর্যাদার ওপর আক্রমণের শিকার হবেন না। এ ধরনের হস্তক্ষেপ অথবা আক্রমণের বিরুদ্ধে প্রত্যেকেরই আইনের আশ্রয় লাভের অধিকার রয়েছে।)
Article 14 (অনুচ্ছেদ-১৪) :
(1) Everyone has the right to seek and to enjoy other countries asylum from persecution. (শান্তি এড়ানোর জন্য প্রত্যেকেরই অন্য দেশে আশ্রয় লাভ ও তা ভোগ করার অধিকার রয়েছে।)
Article 15 (অনুচ্ছেদ-১৫) : Are We Aware of These Rights -ll
(1) Everyone has the right to a nationality. (প্রত্যেকেরই জাতীয়তার অধিকার রয়েছে।)
(2) No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his nationality nor denied the right to change his nationality. (কাউকেই অযৌক্তিকভাবে তার জাতীয়তা হতে বঞ্চিত করা যাবে না অথবা তার জাতীয়তা পরিবর্তনের অধিকার অস্বীকার করা যাবে না।)
Article 16 (অনুচ্ছেদ-১৬) :
(1) Men and women of full age, without any limitation due to race, nationality or religion, have the right to marry and to found a family. (জাতি, জাতীয়তা অথবা ধর্মের ক্ষেত্রে সীমাবদ্ধতা ব্যতিরেকে, পূর্ণবয়স্ক পুরুষ ও নারীর বিয়ে করার ও পরিবার গঠনের অধিকার রয়েছে।)।
(2) Marriage shall be entered into only with the free and full consent of the intending spouses. (বিবাহের পাত্র-পাত্রীর স্বাধীন ও পূর্ণ সম্মতি নিয়েই কেবল বিয়ে সম্পন্ন হবে।)
(3) The family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State, (পরিবার হলো সমাজের প্রাকৃতিক ও মৌলিক গোষ্ঠীর একক এবং সমাজ ও রাষ্ট্র কর্তৃক সুরক্ষা পাওয়ার অধিকারপ্রাপ্ত।)
Article 18 (অনুচ্ছেদ-১৮):
Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion to manifest his. religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance. (প্রচার, চর্চা, প্রার্থনা ও উদ্যাপনের মাধ্যমে তার ধর্ম অথবা বিশ্বাস প্রকাশের ক্ষেত্রে প্রত্যেকের চিন্তা, বিবেক ও ধর্মের স্বাধীনতা রয়েছে।)
Article 19 (অনুচ্ছেদ-১৯):
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference. (প্রত্যেকেরই মতামত ও অভিব্যক্তি প্রকাশের স্বাধীনতা রয়েছে; এই অধিকারের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হলো বাধাহীনভাবে মতামত তুলে ধরা।) (1) Everyone has the right to freedom of peaceful assembly and association. Article 20 (অনুচ্ছেদ-২০):

(2) No one may be compelled to belong to an association. (কোনো ব্যক্তিকেই জোরপূর্বক কোনো সংগঠনের সদস্য করা যাবে না।)
Article 21 (অনুচ্ছেদ-২১):
(1) Everyone has the right to take part in the government of his country, directly or through freely chosen representatives. (প্রত্যেকেরই সরাসরি অথবা স্বাধীনভাবে পছন্দকৃত প্রতিনিধিদের মাধ্যমে তার দেশের সরকার গঠনে অংশগ্রহণ করার অধিকার রয়েছে।)
(2) Everyone has the right to equal access to public service in his country. (প্রত্যেকেরই তার দেশের সরকারি চাকরিতে প্রবেশের সমান অধিকার রয়েছে।)
(3) The will of the people shall be the basis of the authority of government. (জনগণের অভিপ্রায়ই হবে সরকারের ক্ষমতার ভিত্তি।)

Ans: Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more. Everyone is entitled to these rights, without discrimination. Civil, political, economic, cultural, and social rights can all be violated through various means. The violation can be physically violent in nature, such as police brutality, while rights such as the right to a fair trial can also be violated, where no physical violence is involved. If the state does nothing to intervene and protect vulnerable people and groups, it’s participating in the violations, Bangladesh is accused of violating a number of human rights. First of all, children are denied to education and forced to work in inhuman condition. They are severely abused and maltreated in their workplace. Secondly, women’s rights in Bangladesh are still neglected. Still now, early marriage and dowry related violence are very common here. Women are considered as weaker sex and marginalized in family and society. They are discriminated regarding almost all fundamental rights. In our country, people often become victim of arbitrary arrest and police brutality; and fair trial is alien to us. Freedom of expression and assembly is highly controlled here now. Government officials are so much corrupted that common people are afraid of going to government offices. Religious discrimination is also an alarming issue in our country. This violation often occurs because the state is failing to protect vulnerable groups. In a word, most of the people of our country are the victims of human rights violation. They do not enjoy fundamental rights, let alone human rights.
(মানবাধিকার সমূহ হলো গোত্র, লিঙ্গ, জাতীয়তা, জাতিগত, ভাষা, ধর্ম বা অন্যান্য অবস্থা-অবস্থান নির্বিশেষে মানুষের জন্মগত অধিকারসমূহ। মানবাধিকারের মধ্যে রয়েছে জীবন ও স্বাধীনতার অধিকার, দাসত্ব ও নির্যাতন থেকে মুক্তি, মতামত ও বাক স্বাধীনতা, কর্ম ও শিক্ষার অধিকার, এবং আরও অনেক। নির্বিশেষে সকল ব্যক্তি এসব অধিকারের দাবিদার। নাগরিক, রাজনৈতিক, অর্থনৈতিক, সাংস্কৃতিক ও সামাজিক অধিকারসমূহ নানাভাবে লঙ্ঘিত হতে পারে। প্রকারভেদে লঙ্ঘন শারীরিকভাবে আক্রমণজনক হতে পারে যেমন পুলিশের বর্বরতা, পক্ষান্তরে অধিকারসমূহ যেমন নিরপেক্ষ বিচারের অধিকার লঙ্ঘিত হতে পারে যেখানে কোনো শারীরিক আক্রমণ জড়িত নয় । রাষ্ট্র যদি হস্তক্ষেপ এবং দুর্বল জনগণ ও গোষ্ঠীকে রক্ষা করার জন্য কিছুই না করে তবে তা লঙ্ঘনে সামিল হচ্ছে। বাংলাদেশ বেশকিছু মানবাধিকার লঙ্ঘনের দায়ে অভিযুক্ত। প্রথমত, শিশুরা শিক্ষার অধিকার থেকে বঞ্চিত এবং অমানবিক পরিবেশে কাজ করতে বাধ্য হচ্ছে। কর্মক্ষেত্রে তারা মারাত্মক নির্যাতন ও দুর্ব্যবহারের শিকার হয়। দ্বিতীয়ত, বাংলাদেশে এখনও নারী অধিকার অবহেলিত। এখানে এখনও বাল্য- বিবাহ ও যৌতুকের জন্য নির্যাতন খুবই সাধারণ। পরিবার ও সমাজে নারীরা দুর্বল লিঙ্গ হিসেবে বিবেচিত এবং নগণ্য। প্রায় সকল মৌলিক অধিকারের ক্ষেত্রেই তারা বৈষম্যের শিকার। আমাদের দেশে মানুষ প্রায়শই বেআইনী গ্রেফতার ও পুলিশের বর্বরতার শিকারে পরিণত হয়; নিরপেক্ষ বিচার আমাদের কাছে ভিন গ্রহবাসী। বর্তমানে এখানে বাক স্বাধীনতা ও সংগঠনের স্বাধীনতা ব্যাপকভাবে নিয়ন্ত্রিত। সরকারি কর্মকর্তারা এত বেশি দুর্নীতিগ্রস্ত যে সাধারণ মানুষ সরকারি অফিসে যেতে ভয় পায়। আমাদের দেশে ধর্মীয় বৈষম্যও একটি চিন্তার বিষয়। এ লঙ্ঘনটি প্রায়ই ঘটে কারণ রাষ্ট্র দুর্বল গোষ্ঠীসমূহকে সুরক্ষা দিতে ব্যর্থ হচ্ছে। এক কথায়, আমাদের দেশের অধিকাংশ মানুষ মানবাধিকার লঙ্ঘনের শিকার । তারা মৌলিক অধিকারসমূহই ভোগ করতে পারে না, মানবাধিকারসমূহ তো বাদই।)
